 CASE STUDY: McCAIN FOODS

• Replacement Effluent Main, Scarborough

Client: McCain Foods ltd

In July 2015 C. G. Godfrey were awarded a contract by McCain Foods Ltd to replace a section of their existing 400m ductile iron effluent pumping main from their Scarborough plant to the Yorkshire Water main. Approximately 1100m of 450mm black HPPE SDR11 pipe together with all connections; this included a length around the perimeter of their playing field and approximately 400m within the highway/verge of a main road.

This work was completed on time and within budget, to the specification of McCain Foods and the North Yorkshire Council Highway Department.
